The agreement and disclosure applies to all share, share draft and loan accounts you have under this member base account number at Ripco Credit Union.  By choosing to receive your statement and disclosures electronically you acknowledge and accept that you will no longer receive a paper copy of your statement or any disclosures to your account via U.S. Postal Service mail.

Disclosures

When you accept electronic statement and disclosures you agree that we may provide you with any disclosures to our account in electronic format either by e-mail at the most current address we have on record or by access to a website/link that we will provide to you at the time the information becomes available.  The disclosure information that normally appears on the reverse side of your periodic account statement appears here and on our website at www.ripco.org.

Important Information about any Open End Credit Account

The daily periodic rate and the Annual Percentage Rate used to compute the Finance Charge for each of these loans is printed in the section relating to that loan.   The daily periodic rate is applied to your balance for each day such balance is outstanding.  Your balance changes as new amounts are borrowed and as payments are made or credits given.

In Case of Errors or Questions about your Statement

If you think your statement is wrong, or if you need more information about a transaction on your statement, write us at Ripco Credit Union, P.O. Box 278, Rhinelander, WI  54501 as soon as possible.  We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we send or make available electronically the first statement on which the error or problem appeared.  You can telephone us, but doing so will not preserve your rights.

In your letter, please give us the following information:

  • Your name and account number.
  • The dollar amount of the suspected error.
  • Describe the error and explain if you can, why you believe there is an error.  If you need more information, describe the item you are unsure about.

You do not have to pay any amount in question while we are investigating, but you are still obligated to pay the parts of your statement that are not in question.  While we investigate your question, we cannot report you as delinquent or take any action to collect the amount you question.

In Case of Errors or Questions about your Electronic Transfers

Telephone (715-365-4800 or toll free at 1-877-365-4800) or write us at Ripco Credit Union, P.O. Box 278, Rhinelander, WI  54501 as soon as possible if you think your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or receipt.  We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we send or make available electronically the first statement on which the error or problem appeared.  If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 business days.

  • Tell us your name and account number.
  • Describe the error or the transfer you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe there is an error or why you need more information..
  • Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.

We will investigate your complaint and will correct any error promptly.  If we take more than 10 business days (20 business days if the transfer involved a new account) to do this, we will credit your account for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of your money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation.

If you, the member, have payroll deduction for the purpose of loan repayments, this deduction may be terminated at your request, without penalty.

Important Information

Interest and dividend amounts have been reported to federal and state governments.  You will receive an original or substitute 1099 form from us each January, which will contain a summary of this information.

All disclosures we provide to you, regardless of format, will be considered “in writing”.  We recommend that you print or download a copy of your online statements, this Agreement, your initial authorization to receive e-statements and any other disclosures you receive for your records.

Reverting to Paper Statements and Disclosures

You have the option to revert to paper statements and disclosures at any time by clicking the “Statement Option” button when logged on to It’s Me 247, and choosing “I no longer wish to receive my statements electronically.”  You may also revert to paper statements by signed, written request to Ripco Credit Union – P.O. Box 278 – Rhinelander, WI  54501.

If you withdraw your consent to receive your statement online – either actively or due to an invalid e-mail address, we will not charge you a fee to process your consent withdrawal, and you will receive future statement in paper form via U.S. Postal Service mail.   The withdrawal of your consent to receive your statement electronically will become effective as soon as your request is processed by Ripco Credit Union personnel.  This processing may occur on the day of your request or as late as seven (7) business days after your request is made.

Keeping your Contact Information Current

We may treat an invalid e-mail address or the inability to send e-mail to a previously valid e-mail address as a withdrawal of your consent to receive statements electronically.   It is your responsibility to provide us with an accurate and complete e-mail address and other contact information (address and telephone number).  You may maintain and update your e-mail address and other contact information via It’s Me 247 by clicking “Managing Your Account” then “Personal Preferences” then “Changing Personal Information”.  You may also update your e-mail address, mailing address and telephone number by sending a signed, written request to Ripco Credit Union – P.O. Box 278 – Rhinelander, WI  54501.

Termination/Changes
