Through our web site, we strive to provide valuable information to you about how we may serve you and we hope our site answers your questions about our products and services, location, and hours. Ripco Credit Union values your interest and we are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors.

Our web site does not require you to disclose any personally identifying information. If, however, you choose to contact us via e-mail or complete an electronic form, please keep in mind that your e-mail address and any other information your e-mail header shows about you, such as your name or organization, will be revealed to us in the e-mail. Your e-mail address will not be sold, nor will it be shared with others outside the credit union unless we are compelled to do so by law.

Ripco Credit Union respects the privacy of children. We do not knowingly collect names, e-mail addresses, or any other personally identifiable information from children. From time to time, we may solicit information from you for our guestbook, or in connection with a giveaway or drawing. The disclosure of information is entirely voluntary on your part and, if you choose to give it, the personally identifying data will be used internally, primarily to enable us to contact you with additional information about the credit union and services we offer. On occasion, credit union staff may contact you by e-mail for other purposes.

For statistical purposes, Ripco Credit Union may use a counter to obtain such information as type of browsers used, time and number of browsers on our site, and other general tracking information. A specific member can not be identified using this information. This information is used internally and will not be sold or shared with others outside the credit union unless compelled to do so by law.

To provide you with greater access to information, Ripco Credit Union's site may also contain links to other sites. While we hope these organizations join us in respecting your privacy, Ripco is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these other web sites.

Ripco Credit Union is owned by its members and run by a board of directors you elect. You can be confident that your financial privacy is a top priority of this credit union. We are required by law to give you this privacy notice to explain how we collect, use and safeguard your personal financial information.

We are committed to providing you with competitive products and services to meet your financial needs, which necessitates that we share information about you to complete your transactions and to provide you with certain financial opportunities. If you terminate your membership with Ripco Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.
