Email Phishing Scams

Ripco Credit Union members should be on the alert for email messages with the subject of Urgent Identity Verification. The message may state that Ripco Credit Union has temporarily suspended your account and ask that you update/verify your identity to be reinstated.

Ripco members should also be on the lookout for similar email alert messages that appear to be from It's Me 247. This message may also state that Ripco Credit Union has temporarily suspended your account and ask that you update/verify your identity.

Ripco Credit Union will never contact you by email or telephone/voice mail asking for your personal or account information. Many financial institutions are currently being targeted by these fraudulent e-mails and calls. If you received an email or voice mail message claiming to be from Ripco, please do not respond to the caller or mailer, but instead report it to us. Please note, scams of this nature are COMPLETELY RANDOM. Ripco Credit Union member information has not been compromised. Internet Banking and other online channels remain secure.
